ABOUT CEN-TEX MODELERS

The Cen-Tex Modelers were organized in 1972, and is now a nonprofit incorporated club under the laws of the State of Texas.  The organization is chartered with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).  Our primary purpose is to advance the enjoyment of building and flying model aircrafts, and introduce newcomers to this exiting hobby.  Cen-Tex Modelers leases property from the Corps of Engineers, and maintains the runways (Main and Cross) in the same general manner as a golf course maintains their greens. The flying field is maintained solely by the club members and funds generated by the Club. NO TAX DOLLARS are used for this purpose.

Cen-Tex Modelers meet the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. at the Killeen Community Center on the corner of W.S. Young and Veterans Memorial Blvd  (Business Hwy 190).
